Who is Sarah Palin?

Apart from being the running mate of Senator John McCain, candidate for the office of Vice President in the US elections and all the other stuff, information (according to Wikepedia) about the Governor of Alaska tell us -

Palin was originally baptized as a Roman Catholic, but her parents switched to the Wasilla Assembly of God, a Pentecostal church, where she was rebaptized at age 12 or 13. When she is in the capital, she attends Juneau Christian Center, another Assemblies of God church. Her current home church in Wasilla is The Wasilla Bible Church, an independent congregation. Initial reports described her as the first Pentecostal ever named to a major party's presidential ticket; Palin has described herself as a "Bible-believing Christian" [ephasis added] who attends a non-denominational church. The National Catholic Reporter described her as a "post-denominational" Christian.

One US political commentator has remarked regarding the intervention of Democrat elder statesman Joe Lieberman at the Republican convention to endorse Mrs. Palin:

"What a remarkable sight. We've never seen anything like it, and I don't know that we ever will again. But there was Sen. Joe Lieberman -- a lifelong Democrat, the Democrats' Vice Presidential nominee in 2000, a man who with Al Gore earned some 51 million votes running against George Bush and Dick Cheney -- at a Republican convention to say without hesitation that Sen. John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin have more experience, better judgment and more qualifications to lead America than Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden."

Meanwhile others mourn what they see as Sarah Palin's principles being sacrificied on the altar of nation and international politics. Sarah Palin's Career Ends in Tragedy; read on....
