CPA NCBThe Northern Constabulary branch of the Christian Police Association wrtes to the Christian churches and individuals as follows:

Dear friend

Northern Constabulary has re-ignited its branch of the Christian Police Association and at present, members new and old meet for a monthly prayer breakfast within the CYC, Bank Street Inverness. One of our aims is to provide prayer, encouragement and fellowship opportunities for Christian police officers and support staff from all denominations within Northern Constabulary.

As well as building bridges with the non-Christian community, we want to build relationships with the Christian community and churches within Inverness. We believe that through prayer and the working of the Holy Spirit, great things can be achieved. We want to raise the profile of the Christian Police Association and by inviting leaders/representatives from local churches to our next prayer breakfast, we hope to increase your awareness of our vision and importantly, obtain your support in the form of prayer.

The next prayer breakfast is to be held at:

The CYC/YMCA
on
Bank Street, Inverness
at
8.00am
on
Saturday, 25 September 2010

Bacon rolls and coffee supplied!

Branch members send a 'warm invitation to join us' with an 'RSVP' to:

don-axcell cpa“The Christian Police Association has been serving those in the police service for over 125 years and continually seeks to be relevant and active in its role.

Since January 2010 we have welcomed over 100 new members nationally and yet there are still areas of the UK where we do not have a branch of CPA. Our ongoing challenge is to improve that situation.

We need everyone’s help to raise the profile of the Association and aid us in our mission of supporting and encouraging Christians in the police service and building bridges with the Christian Community.

It is my prayer that you will want to join us in this mission.”

Don Axcell, Executive Director CPA.
