Growing leaders: training the trainers course
In the context of the need to equip the leaders of today and tomorrow in the church of Jesus Christ, Chris Kellock of the Church Pastoral Aid Society recently visited Inverness to outline a forthcoming 'Training the Trainers' leadership training day in Perth.
According to the CPAS web site Growing Leaders Training the Trainers day provides practical insights into how to grow leaders in the local church as well as equip you to use the Growing Leaders resource pack.
 In speaking to Christians Together, Rev. Chris Kellock of CPAS said:
We know from previous experience that attending a Growing Leaders Training the Trainers day makes a big difference to the way people run the course. We consider both the principles underlying Growing Leaders as well as the practicalities of how to set up a course.
Chris has a background as a minister and a RAF chaplain. He has also spent time working with Scriputure Union. You can hear a short interview that Chris gave to Christians Together where he outlines the background to and purpose of the Training the Trainers day as a 'toe-in-the-water' introductory session to any individual or church hoping to develop their leadership team.
