Pastor Mervyn Milne of People with Mission Ministries writes:
"A number of church leaders have again expressed their desire to hold a Gospel Mission in Inverness at the end of August 2009 and our Ministry- People With A Mission Ministries (PWAMM) has been invited to join with them. We have already hosted
Missions in the summer of 2007 and 2008 with a number of people positively responding to the Gospel during these Missions.
PWAMM is now involved with over 300 pastors and leaders throughout Scotland. Our vision is to share the good news of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by working with local congregations in their locality. Our activities include tent missions, bus missions, children's street work, billboards, television outreach and pastors and leaders prayer for revival meetings.
We know that we are not starting something new because many congregations are already effectively reaching out in the City. Luis Palau's visit to Inverness in June was a tremendous occasion for the Church of Jesus Christ to reach out to the unsaved. We believe that the Gospel Mission planned for August offers an ideal follow through to the Luis Palau Festival.
Rev Calum Maclnnes and the APC congregation have very kindly offered to host prayer meetings for Inverness 2009 at -
Kingsview Christian Centre
Balnafettack Road, Inverness IV3 8TF
at
7.30pm
on the following dates:
Thursday, 23 July
Thursday, 30 July
Thursday, 6 August
Thursday, 13 August
Thursday, 20 August
We would be delighted if you are able to support these prayer meetings and the Mission at the end of August."
The team from the Challenger 3 bus which visited to Inverness City Centre on 21-23 July will be sharing the Gospel and speaking to members of the public about the forthcoming mission during their time in Inverness. You would be most welcome to visit the bus.
